Immigrant Settlement & Adaptation Program for youth

The objective of the Immigrant Settlement & Adaptation Program(ISAP) is to provide the services and guidance necessary for new immigrants to settle in this land, adapt to the Canadian environment and integrate into the mainstream society..

This program educates new immigrants about the actions and procedures that they have to take for settlement, adaptation and integration into Canadian society. In order to achieve this, we conduct seminars, discussions and information sessions, both individually as well as in groups.

This program not only provides necessary needs and services to new immigrants for settlement, adaptation and integration but also identifies and guides new immigrants to the various facilities and organizations available to obtain these services. This program is funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada.

The above services are available in the following 12 languages: Arabic, Azerbaijani, Dari, English, Farsi, French, Pashto, Russian, Sinhala, Tamil, Turkish and Urdu.

Who is eligible?

Permanent resident of Canada (landed immigrant) or convention refugee

Canadian citizens, visitors or refugee claimants are NOT eligible for the ISAP Program
