Women Aiding Women Program (WAW)

The Women Aiding Women program is designed to reach out and help women in the Tamil community. This program is funded by the City of Toronto.

The program is run by women for women to provide a supportive environment in which women can empower themselves by : strengthening their skills, gaining information on issues that affect them,  learning about available resources that help them in their daily lives as well as achieving their potential, learning about opportunities, learning to help other women, and learning to bond.

This program is empowers women, by improving their overall individual well-being, improving their capacity to access needed resources and developing social networks.

• Workshops
• One on one counseling and bonding sessions.
