First of all I'd like to say thank you to all teachers in the child minding at Tesoc. The children here as usually busy playing with variety of toys and doing some activities, which is very useful for their development. A respect between a teacher and a child relationship is the most is the most important thing to me and I'm glad to notice this phenomenon here at Tesoc...

She is fantastic teacher.I have met many wonderfull people over the last few years and enjoy going everyday to learn how to read, speak and write english. I have been in Toronto for nearly 7 months. First of all I want to thank Canadian Gvt. to encourage me to study in the LINC class. I also want to express my gratitude to Tesoc and teachers who are involved to expose me to good information in english. From this class I learned about Canadian culture, laws, life style and how to communicate with others. In the begining when I came to Canada I didn't know how to express my self and felt shy. After attending LINC program I sure I gotconfident and learn more. Now I am looking for a job. Special thanks tomy teacher Valentina whoo took me in a right path to future success!

  • Childminding at TESOC - By Amira Fadda
It has been two years since I first arrived to the centre. When I first came in with my little daughter to this centre everybody welcomed me with respect and a big smile. From my perspective this centre is one of the best. Tesoc and daycare is a wonderful place. Kids from a variety of ages have fun and socialize at the centre. Kid’s parents and other adults from different countries and cultures get taught English by English speakers. The daycare in Tesoc is one of the best compared to other daycare centres. In it kids get great care and extra attention when needed. The centre accepts all kids with any type of allergy or any medical problems. The daycare center is not only a daycare it is also a school. Kids learn manners there. They learn how to behave and respect other people’s feelings. Most importantly they learn how to share with other kids. Tesoc is simply the best daycare ever.

  • My English Class - By Eleini Spilioti, Level L/1
My name is Eleni Spililoti. I study English at The Tesoc. The school address is 1160, Birchmount Road. It is a good school. I am a part time student. I study all weekdays. My class starts at 12:00 noon and ends at 2:30. I have 12 classmates. They come from different countries… They speak different languages. My teacher is kind and helpful. In class, I listen to the teacher, read stories, practice English with my classmates, and write in my notebook. English is difficult but I am happy to be learning it.

  • Memory still green - By LINC Student Level 5/6It has been a great time and a wonderful class with unforgettable memories. I still remember the strong and deep impression I had on the first day I came to these classes. I was a little nervous. Everything looked new and strange to me for the simple reason that this was my first class in Canada. I was looking for the classroom with lot of questions on my mind. Suddenly, my heart warmed up and my nervousness went away when I saw the teacher’s smile- a very warm smile. Most of my classmates were older than me, and they seemed friendly and honest. Day by day, step by step, we all got together to study in a warm atmosphere. It was really hard, patient work. We had a lot of trouble in the communication. The biggest problem was pronunciation. We always made it difficult for the teachers to understand when we tried to express something. They always diligently tried to find out what we wanted to say and what we meant. The whole knowledge that we got from our teachers is very useful. I think whenever in our life, or wherever we live, we will have a wonderful memory of theses LINC classes, which are the bridge to our new life in Canada.
