Seniors Program

The aim of TESOC’s New Horizons for Seniors Program (NHSP) is to empower seniors by providing them with the knowledge, skills, resources and connections/networks so that they can build an independent and healthy lifestyle and become more socially active and integrated within the community.  This is done through a series of collaborative learning assignments/activities, English conversation classes, and through the provision of virtual workshops planned and conducted by the Seniors’ Program Coordinator, and English Language Instructor with feedback and support from the seniors and TESOC staff.   

Eligible Clients: Seniors 55+ years of age

Mode of Delivery and Program Hours: Virtual via ZOOM – Tuesdays @ 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Fridays @ 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm (subject to change)
